Learn How To Measure:

How to Measure Your Bust

  1. Stand up straight and relax your arms.
  2. Put on the bra you would normally wear with your clothes.
  3. Take a soft measuring tape.
  4. Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest.
  5. Make sure the tape goes under your arms and across your back.
  6. Check that the tape is straight and level all the way around.
  7. Keep the tape snug, but not too tight.
  8. Breathe normally and do not hold your breath.
  9. Read the number where the tape meets.
  10. Write down the number.


How to Measure Your Shoulders



  1. Stand up straight and relax your arms.
  2. Find the edge of one shoulder where the shoulder seam would sit.
  3. Place the end of the measuring tape on that spot.
  4. Stretch the tape across your upper back.
  5. Measure to the edge of your other shoulder.
  6. Keep the tape straight and level.
  7. Do not wrap the tape around your body.
  8. Read the number on the tape.
  9. Write down the number.


How to Measure Your Hips:


Stand up straight with your feet together.

  1. Take a soft measuring tape.
  2. Find the widest part of your hips and bottom.
  3. Wrap the tape all the way around that area.
  4. Make sure the tape stays straight all the way around.
  5. Keep the tape snug, but not too tight.
  6. Look in a mirror to check that the tape is level.
  7. Read the number where the tape meets.
  8. Write down the number.


How to Measure Your Waist:

  1. Stand up straight.
  2. Find the narrowest part of your tummy, usually just above your belly button.
  3. Take a soft measuring tape.
  4. Wrap the tape all the way around your waist.
  5. Make sure the tape is straight and not twisted.
  6. Keep the tape snug, but not too tight.
  7. Relax your tummy and breathe normally.
  8. Look at the number where the tape meets.
  9. Write down the number.


How to Measure Your Bicep



  1. Stand up straight and relax your arm.
  2. Let your arm hang down by your side.
  3. Find the widest part of your upper arm (between your shoulder and elbow).
  4. Take a soft measuring tape.
  5. Wrap the tape around the widest part of your upper arm.
  6. Make sure the tape is flat and not twisted.
  7. Keep the tape snug, but not too tight.
  8. Read the number where the tape meets.
  9. Write down the number.


How to Measure Your Length:



  1. Stand up straight.
  2. Take a soft measuring tape.
  3. Place the end of the tape at the top of your shoulder, near your neck.
  4. Let the tape hang straight down the front of your body.
  5. Measure down to where you want the clothing to end.
  6. Keep the tape straight and flat.
  7. Read the number at the bottom of the tape.
  8. Write down the number.


How to Measure Your Sleeve:

  1. Stand up straight.
  2. Bend your arm a little.
  3. Place the end of the measuring tape at the edge of your shoulder.
  4. Run the tape down the outside of your arm.
  5. Keep measuring past your elbow to your wrist.
  6. Make sure the tape follows the curve of your arm.
  7. Keep the tape flat and straight.
  8. Read the number at your wrist.
  9. Write down the number.


How to Measure Your Ankle for Pants:

  1. Sit down or stand up straight.
  2. Find the narrowest part of your ankle, just above your foot.
  3. Take a soft measuring tape.
  4. Wrap the tape all the way around your ankle.
  5. Make sure the tape is flat and not twisted.
  6. Keep the tape snug, but not too tight.
  7. Read the number where the tape meets.
  8. Write down the number.


How to Measure Thigh:



  1. Stand up straight with your feet a little apart.
  2. Find the widest part of your upper leg.
  3. Take a soft measuring tape.
  4. Wrap the tape around the widest part of your thigh.
  5. Make sure the tape is flat and not twisted.
  6. Keep the tape snug, but not too tight.
  7. Stand relaxed and do not flex your muscles.
  8. Read the number where the tape meets.
  9. Write down the number.
